Text of the Article, Screenshot : The global tyranny now is blatant. I take this to mean we are winning. I've heard it said that the Russian KGB began to completely terrorize the general population - riiiiight before soviet Russia collapsed. Not that they weren't intimidating the citizens to begin with But just that they began to realty tighten their grip toward the end. That they would do things like make public examples out of obviously innocent people for trivial things to cause panic and tear in the normie plebs.

I've seen some Russians say that in retrospect it was obvious that they were doing it because their power structure was teetering on the brink of ruin. They were losing the control over people that they needed to maintain the illusion of power.

And at the time, Russians saw their commie govt as some huge all-powerful entity, when behind the scenes, they were actually LOSING power. But while it was going on, the Russian people didn't see that They didn't know soviet Russia was about to collapse.

Part of the reason for this, aside from pravda and propaganda, was that it LOOKED like the KGB was everywhere, all the time watching everyone and waiting to strike. They appeared to have total domination over the people of Russia.

At the apex of soviet power. they may have had that kind of reach. But toward the end, right before the fall, they no longer did. But they had to make it look like they did. So their antics and public actions became more unreasonable, cruel, trivial, extreme.

When these dickheads HAVE power, they try to keep it a secret from everyone. Its not until they're getting their asses handed to them that they start to flex. And the harder and more urgently they flex, the less confident they are in what power they have.

Globohomo is on it's way out IMO. The lengths they've gone to to exert control are so ridiculous and offensive that it looks to me like death throes.

I lived through the soviet collapse as a child and from what I remember and what my parents have told you're correct. Appear strong when you're weak. It all started with rumors that the communist party was in trouble and losing power. That spurred patriotic movements all over the country that the already nearly bankrupt government had to expend ever more resources to contain. The propaganda and oppression got blatant and hysterical like it is now However, once it was widespread knowledge that the regime was about to fall. it happened very quickly The army sided with the people at the last minute and it was all over. I remember seeing tanks drive back toward Russia as they left
