Apple rejected YouTube-competitor Odysee from the App Store because a video had pepe the frog as a thumbnail — and because Odysee refused to filter Covid videos out of search results

The Apple censorship team once rejected the Odysee app from the Apple App Store because of videos containing images of Pepe the Frog. Apple made no such demands of Odysee’s competitor, Google’s YouTube.

Apple also demanded Covid-related terms be filtered out of Odysee search results.

Screenshot of a LBRY tweet, November 28th 2022: During Covid, Apple demanded our apps filter some search terms from being returned. If we did not filter the terms, our apps would not be allowed in the store.

Apple may make good products, but they have been opposed to free speech for some time. Apple disallowed almost anything related to Covid, especially vaccines or human origins of the virus. We had to build a list of over 20 terms to not show results for, only on Apple devices. Apple also later rejected us because users included Pepe images in videos.

The email Apple sent Odysee rejecting their app because of a user’s frog image:

Email from Apple App Store to LBRY about banning the LBRY app:

Regarding 1.1, we continue to find that your app or metadata includes content that some users may find upsetting, offensive, or otherwise objectionable. Specifically, Pepe the Frog. To resolve this issue, it would be appropriate to remove all potentially objectionable content from your app and metadata and submit your revised binary for review. We look forward to reviewing your resubmitted app. Best regards, App Store Review

These restrictionist media and surveillance firms like Apple and Google all work to protect each other, and to protect the corrupt establishment. They will do anything to prevent new competitors from expanding freedom of expression, outside of the control of the Big Tech oligarchs. They act exactly like a protectionist cartel; a criminal conspiracy.

Combined, Apple and Google control 98% of the mobile marketplace.

Scientific American, Before and After

Scientific American is owned by the publishing company Springer Nature. This multi-billion dollar publishing company previously agreed to block access to hundreds of articles on its Chinese site, cutting off access to articles on Tibet, Taiwan, and China’s political elite. They also rejected papers from Taiwanese scientists for refusing to be called Chinese. Playing politics is not new to these people.

SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN headline compilation:

1. The Risks of Rushing a COVID-19 Vaccine
- Telescoping testing time lines and approvals may expose all of us to unnecessary dangers

2. Scientific American Endorses Joe Biden
- We've never backed a presidential candidate in our 175-year history—until now

3. It's Time to Consider Vaccine Mandates in High-Risk Settings
- Leaving vaccination to individual choice is unacceptably dangerous in places such as nursing homes, long-term care facilities and prisons

How to speak to someone who's hesitant to get vaccinated.

The manipulative power of the term “vaccine hesitancy” is worth admiring. Implying everyone will get it, but some are just being slow and hesitant about it.

CNN article: Past vaccine disasters show why rushing a coronavirus vaccine now would be 'colossally stupid'.

(CNN) — Vaccine experts are warning the federal government against rushing out a coronavirus vaccine before testing has shown it's both safe and effective. Decades of history show why they're right.

Their concern that the FDA may be moving too quickly heightened when FDA Commissioner Dr. Steven Hahn told the Financial Times that his agency could consider an emergency use authorization (EUA) for a Covid-19 vaccine before late stage clinical trials are complete if the data show strong enough evidence it would protect people.

The Wuhan Virus

The New York Times using the term The Wuhan Virus, then attacking conservatives for using the very same term.

Some conservatives, including Mike Pompeo, Sen. Tom Cotton and Rep. Paul Gosar, are using the term "Wuhan virus" to describe Covid-19. Critics accused the term, which goes against the recommendation of health officials, of being racist and xenophobic.

Is this how a normal person talks when listing simple facts?

Or, is this how a fear propagandist talks so you feel attacked and afraid?

Wreak havoc! Breakneck speed! Rapid! Now! Loud and Clear! Overwhelming! Hard and Swift! Battering!

You’d think he was talking about some crazy chaos happening in actual reality, with cars on fire and body parts in street gutters. He whispers “potential” then turns his fantasy into a screaming erotic hysteria novel for fear fetishists.

What he is really saying: some early evidence seems to suggest Omicron may have potential to become something we must be cautious of, even though yes it apparently seems like it is currently nothing.

He really went overboard didn’t he? Sadly, many people read this type of thing and don’t see the trick. Instead they feel the fear downloading straight into their brain without even noticing. It is worth reading his paragraph a dozen times, to really appreciate how much fear language he managed to jam in there.
