What he is really saying: some early evidence seems to suggest Omicron may have potential to become something we must be cautious of, even though yes it apparently seems like it is currently nothing.

Of course, none of this matters in Media Land, because all that matters is telling a good story.

They literally cut off “but I speak to the border guards and they tell me what we’re getting”. Did you fall for that one?
